Belén Sancho

LA MADRILEÑA - VIOLIN

Belén Sancho starts playing the violin at the age of four with Mirjana Rancovich, and with five years old she does her first performance. She continues her studies at the Professional Conservatory of Music of Amaniel (Madrid) where she obtains the highest grades and honors in violin and chamber music. Simultaneously she receives classes from Hans Krakemberger and Elena Mikhailova.

Belén has been finalist in several contests for young artists. Also, she received classes from Joaquín Torre, Farid Fasla, Pedro Leon, Ana Valderrama, Thuan do Minh, Cibran Sierra, Hiro Kurosaki, Lars UlrichMortensen, among others.

Later, she studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid in two specialties, violin with Sergey Teslya and baroque violin with Hiro Kurosaki. Belén receives extraordinary prize in chamber music with her string quartet. Also she performs in numerous festivals, competitions and concerts, bocoming member of several orchestras of period instruments such as La Madrileña, Baroque Orchestra of Salamanca, Hippocampus, Royal Chapel of Madrid, Classical, Symphonic and Baroque Orchestra of the Superior Conservatory of Music of Madrid, Baroque Orchestra Ars Combinatoria, among others.
