Ester DomingoLA MADRILEÑA - CELLO
Born in 1987, she began her musical studies at the age of eight in Zaragoza. For four years (September 2005 to June 2010) she studied in the Conservatorio Superior de Aragón (CSMA), being a student of the Profs. David Apellániz and Angel Luis Quintana. In 2013 she finished the ‘Master in Professional Performance’ at the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen, Germany, with Professor Alexander Hüllshof and Uli Witteler, where she also received lessons of baroque cello with Prof. Markus Möllenbeck.
She studied a master’s degree in Early Music at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague under the guidance of Prof. Jaap ter Linden, which she finished in June 2015.
She has been a member of the Jeune Orchestre Atlantique (JOA), the of the Age of Enlightenment Experience Scheme 2015 and the European Union Baroque Orchestra 2015/16.
An enthusiast of chamber and orchestral music, she has created her own ensembles (Edelmann Trio, Apollo’s Cabinet or Cuarteto Tomás de Iriarte). She had the opportunity and honor to colaborate with many different groups and musicians such as Philippe Herreweghe, Jos van Immerseel, Alessandro Moccia, Camerata Antonio Soler, the Orchestra of the 18th Century led by Frans Brüggen, Holland Baroque Society, Margaret Faultless, Kati Debretzenyi, Lars Ulrik Mortensen or La Madrileña.
