Izana SoriaLA MADRILEÑA - VIOLIN
Spanish origin, Izana Soria starts learning music with her mother. After graduating in modern violin, she began studying baroque violin with Hiro Kurosaki in Madrid. She continued her training in early music at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with Mira Glodeanu, Alessandro Moccia, Benoit Douchy and Jean Tubery.
She performed as a member of Youth National Orchestra of Spain, Youth Orchestra of Community of Madrid, Academy Orchestra of the Royal Theatre of Madrid and French Youth Orchestra.
Resident in Belgium since 2011, she performs with different ensembles in this country but as well in France, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain (Le Concert d’Anvers, Die Mannheimer Hofkappellen, Collegium Ad Mosam, La Madrileña, La Capilla Real and Hippocampus).
Together with the flautist Carlota García and the cellist Edouard Catalan, she creates in 2013 the ensemble “BarrocoTout”, which has been selected in 2015 and 2016 as a resident ensemble within de European EEEmerging Project. BarrocoTout has participated during 2015 in Festival d’Ambronay (FR), Utrecht Early Music Fringe Festival (NL), Internationale Händel Festspiele Göttingen (GE) y Festival Les Claviers en Folie (BE).
