Lola Fernández

LA MADRILEÑA - VIOLA

Born in Madrid in 1987, Lola Fernández graduated in Conservatorio Superior of Aragón with José Manuel Román. During that time she participates in orchestras such as Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, Joven Orquesta Nacional de España, Orquesta Escuela del Teatro Real, Orquesta de Radio Televisón Española or Orquesta de Castilla y León.

After finishing her viola studies Lola Fernández specializes in Early Music performance. First doing a Bachelor degree at Esmuc (Escola Superior de Música de Cataluña) with Emilio Moreno and later at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Amandine Beyer where she completes two Masters degrees, one in Historic Viola and the other in Viola D’amore. During that period she also participates in academies such as European Unión Baroque Orchestra, Formation Supérieure au métier de l’orchestre classique et romantique, Ambronay or Academia Montis Regalis.

Now Lola Fernández is member Le Concert des Nations (Jordi Savall), La Madrileña (José Antonio Montaño) or Capella Mediterránea (Leonardo García Alarcón) and collaborates with several chamber groups and orchestras such as The Eighteen Century Orchestra, La Real Capilla, Musica Fiorita, La Ritirata or La Cetra among others.
