Lorenzo CutillasLA MADRILEÑA - VIOLIN
Lorenzo Cutillas Turpin begins his violin studies at Conservatorio Superior de Murcia “Manuel Massotti Little” finishing after that in Conservatorio Superior de Zaragoza. From 1996 he belongs to Murcia Symphonic Orquesta from which he is founder member. Lorenzo completes his education with Michael Thomas and Ian Benton from Brodsky Cuartet. Later he specializes in historical violin with François Fernandez, Enrico Gatti, Jaap Schröeder, Irmgard Schaller and Emilio Moreno.
In 2012 Lorenzo becomes a member of Cuarteto de Cuerdas Giordano. In 2013 he founded La Arcadia, an early music ensemble which he also conducts. In 2016 he deepens in medieval music with Marcel Peres, Carles Magraner y Marco Bechetti.
Lorenzo has collaborated with groups such as La Madrileña, Orquesta barroca de Sevilla, La Capilla Real de Madrid, Estil Concertant, Orquesta Barroca de Murcia, la Lyra Hispana, Il Incontro Fortunato, DeMusica Ensemble, Veterum Mvsicae and Orientis Partibus.
Lorenzo is at this moment the artistic director of two music festivals in Murcia, Spain.
