Pablo Prieto La MadrileñaPablo Prieto studied a Bachelor in violin and chamber music in Zaragoza and Murcia. Then he continued his education with teachers like Irmgard Schaller, Emilio Moreno, Jaap Schröder, Enrico Gatti, François Fernandez or Mikhail Kopelman.

Since 1993 he is first violin of the ensemble Los Músicos De Su Alteza, conducted by Luis Antonio Gonzalez, with whom he won the 9th edition of the Van Wassenar early music ensemble competition in The Hague (1996) He has recorded several CDs of 17th and 18th   century Spanish and Italian music for labels Arsis, Dorian-Hortus, Musica Antigua Aranjuez and Alpha. He has won prices such as Diapasion D’Or, CD Compact 2000 and he has performed in a large number of halls and festival all over Europe.

He has been invited by ensembles like Europa Galante (Fabio Biondi) or The Scholars Baroque Ensemble. Also, he collaborates regularly with Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla, La Madrileña, La Galanía, Forma Antiqva, La Capilla Real de Madrid, Orquesta Barroca de Salamanca, Hippocampus, Conductus Ensemble, Estil Concertant, Tercia Realidad, El Trovar de los Afectos, Compañía Teatro del Príncipe de Aranjuez, etc

Currently Pablo Prieto is member of ensembles La Madrileña (Jose Antonio Montaño) and La Tempestad (Silvia Márquez) with whom he recently recorded the entire Johann Peter Salomon arrangement of London Haydn Symphonies.
