Pere Saragossa

LA MADRILEÑA - OBOE

PereSaragossa La MadrileñaPere Saragossa was born in La Vila Joiosa (Alacant) where he studied oboe. At an early age he became oboist in the Orquesta Sinfónica del Valles, performing 750 concerts until 1998, that year he starts his baroque oboe studies with Xavier Blanch, Paul Dombrech and Renate Hildebran. Then he move to Barcelona were he completes his Bachelor in Early Music with Alfredo Bernardini.

In 2005 he founded the ensemble Vespers d’Arnadí conducted by him and Dani Espasa. In 2013 he founded the ensemble Lucentum XVI where he conducts and plays chirimias. He had performed with those ensembles in important festivals all over Europe.

He has collaborated with several important orchestras and ensembles such as La Madrileña, Accademia Bizantina, Ensemble Matheus, Hippocampus, Europa Galante, Helsinki Baroque Orchestra, Le Concert des Nations and Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla among others.
