Sara ÁguedaLA MADRILEÑA - HARP
Sara Águeda began her music education in the Arturo Soria Conservatory in Madrid. In 2005 started her career as stage musician with the Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico (CNTC). With this company she presented on various national and international tours.
Her devotion for early music led her to deepen her knowledge of historical harp at the Escuela Superior de Música de Cataluña (ESMUC) under professor Mara Galassi, with whom she has worked with Italian and English renaissance and baroque repertoire.
Sara Águeda has performed at numerous early music festivals in hole world: France, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Italy, USA, Belgium, Poland, Colombia, México, Bolivia, Spain, Sweden, Latvia, India, Perú, Argentina, China,Uruguay… She has also collaborated with many early music groups, for example La Madrileña, Música Ficta, La Capilla Jerónimo de Carrión, Capella Sanctae Crucis, Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla (OBS), La Grande Chapelle, Vandalia, La Ritirata, Alfonso X el Sabio, Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid, Coral de cámara de Pamplona, Música Alchemica, Capella de Ministrers, Luz y Norte, Armonía Concertante, Le Poème Harmonique.
Sara Áqueda has taken part in an educational project on Monteverdi’s L´Orfeo in the Teatro Real de Madrid. She has recorded with diferents record labels such Glossa, Brilliant Classic, Enchiriadis, Cantus Records, Harmonia Mundi, Vanitas, Lauda Música, CMY Barroque… and also for radio and televisions: RTVE (Spain), France Musique, RTP (Portugal), Stockholm radio, Catalunya Musica, Arte, etc.
UN VIAJE A NÁPOLES (A voyage to Naples) and THE HARP´S THEATRE, are his solo harp CD´s.
